Day 01 : Arrival in Kigali – City Tour

Upon arrival at Kigali International Airport, you will be warmly welcomed by your guide and transferred to your hotel. Depending on arrival time, enjoy a Kigali city tour including the Kigali Genocide Memorial, local markets, and panoramic city viewpoints. Dinner and overnight stay in Kigali.

Day 02 : Kigali – Akagera National Park

After breakfast, depart for Akagera National Park, Rwanda’s only savannah park and home to the Big Five. Enjoy a scenic drive through rolling hills and rural landscapes. Upon arrival, embark on an afternoon game drive to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and various antelope species.

Day 03 : Akagera Game Drive & Boat Safari – Volcanoes National Park

Start the day with an early morning game drive for excellent wildlife viewing. Later, enjoy a relaxing boat safari on Lake Ihema, known for hippos, crocodiles, and abundant birdlife. After lunch, drive to Volcanoes National Park in northern Rwanda.

Day 04 : Gorilla Trekking – Cultural Experience

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters for a briefing before starting your mountain gorilla trekking adventure. Spend a magical hour observing a gorilla family in its natural habitat. In the afternoon, enjoy a cultural village visit to learn about Rwandan traditions, music, and lifestyle.

Day 05 : Golden Monkey Trek or Leisure – Return to Kigali

Choose between a golden monkey trek or a relaxed morning at the lodge. Later, return to Kigali with scenic stops along the way. Transfer to the airport for departure or onward travel.
