Day 01 : Nairobi to Masai Mara
On this day, our guide will pick you up at 07h00 at an agreed-upon point in Nairobi town, where you will have a briefing on your safari. Then, you will depart Nairobi for Masai Mara, which is approximately a 5-hour drive. You will have a brief stopover at the viewpoint, which offers a scenic view of the Great Rift Valley. Upon arrival at Masai Mara, you will check in at your camp, have lunch, freshen up, and enjoy the lodge facilities. Dinner and overnight will be at Lenchada Mara Camp.
Day 02 : Explore Masai Mara
You will be picked up at 06h00 for a full-day game drive, leaving your lodge with a packed lunch. The Mara is the land of African legend; lions are abundant throughout the park, as are elephants, giraffes, and a variety of gazelle species and zebras. Cheetah and leopard are also regularly seen and, less commonly, rhino. The Masai Mara is also home to many members of the colorful Maasai community who may be seen around the borders of the park – morans (warriors) loping across the plains, young boys herding goats, or elders grouped under a tree discussing matters of the day. Visit the Maasai village, then proceed to the camp for dinner.
Day 03 : Masai Mara to Nairobi
You will have breakfast at 07h00 and check out with an en-route game viewing. You can have a brief stopover at Narok town on your way to Nairobi for lunch. Arriving in Nairobi in the late afternoon, you will be dropped off at your hotel, The Kenya Comfort Hotel.
Day 04 : Nairobi to Amboseli
After breakfast, you will check out and depart Nairobi by road through the scenic Athi Plains and into the bush country of Amboseli National Park. The park is home to the legendary Maasai community and is famous for its huge herds of elephants. Arrive at Amboseli and check in for lunch. Proceed for an afternoon game drive in search of the Big Five. Later, return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 05 : Explore Amboseli
We will rise early to catch clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro before clouds build up over the summit. We set off for another stimulating “spice” game drive. Amboseli is an excellent place to view a multitude of wildlife, including everything from large herds of elephants and wildebeests to giraffes and baboons. An optional visit to a Maasai village is planned after breakfast at an extra cost. Lunch will be served at the lodge, and later, we will proceed for an evening game drive before we return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 06 : Amboseli to Emali to Mombasa
You will have an early morning game drive in the park, where you can capture clear views of Mount Kilimanjaro. Later, you will return to the lodge for breakfast. After breakfast, you will depart by road for Nairobi, arriving early afternoon. You will be dropped off at the train terminus in Syokimau for your afternoon train to Mombasa.
Day 07 : 7 to 8: Explore Mombasa
You will spend these 2 days exploring Mombasa city and its beaches. You can opt to spend your time within the hotel. Extra activities and excursions within Mombasa and its surroundings can be arranged on request. All meals will be served at Ziwa Beach Resort.
Day 08 : Departure
After breakfast, you will be picked up from your hotel and transferred to the SGR station to catch a train back to Nairobi. Alternatively, you can be dropped off at the airport for your international flight home
